What parents should know about you:  As someone who spent many summers camping at Arrowbear, I'm beyond excited to return as a counselor and help your kids to have the same wonderful experiences that I've had. Arrowbear is a truly beautiful place and I'm looking forward to exploring and enjoying it with everyone!

6. Fun fact: I've been playing basketball since I was 5 years old and currently play for the DIII women's basketball team at Carleton!

7. What parents should know about you: I know how to lead by example while being goofy and energetic around students. I'll always be there to support your child and make them feel included. I am excited to give back to this camp that gave so many great memories to me as a young musician!

7. What parents should know about you:  I've been going to Arrowbear for more than half of my life, I grew up here, and it means the world to me. I really think I am the person that I am today because of the of kindness, inclusion, acceptance, and fun that I've experienced up here -- it's way more than just a music camp! My goal for this summer, and every summer that I counsel, is to help your kids learn to love Arrowbear as much as I do!

6. Fun Fact: I've driven across the country and back in my Prius!

7. What parents should know about you: I have dreamed of being a counselor since I first went to Arrowbear 10 years ago. I will make sure to be as kind, helpful, and inspiring as past counselors have been for me.

6. Fun fact: Aside from music, I also passionately love hiking and Italian food! 

7. What parents should know about you: There are so many people in my life who have supported my love for music and that have helped make the most meaningful moments in my life possible. As a counselor, I hope to help do the same for the campers through cultivating a safe, joyful, and unconditionally loving environment as they create musical memories of their own!

6. Fun fact: I love to cook!! Sometimes I'll bring dishes to school for my friends to try. 
7. What parents should know about you: Arrowbear developed my love for music into a part of who I am. It's given me a lot of care, support, guidance, and friendship, and I hope to give even more of that joy to all the campers I'l have the privilege to spend time with.

6. Fun fact: I was bit by a rattlesnake when I was 4 years old...it’s a long story

7. What parents should know about you: Arrowbear is a very special place, and there’s a reason why people come back year after year. Last summer, I worked as an instrumental coach for the Elementary session, which not only taught me a lot about interacting with the youth, but was a delightful reminder of why I began playing flute in the first place—after all, I was in their same position only a few years ago as a budding musician. Returning to camp again this summer (this time as a counselor!), I hope to take what I learned last year and apply it to this year—to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for growing musicians, and to teach them how to get the most out of their camp experience.

6. Fun fact:  I love carving wooden spoons and helping lost dogs find their way back home. 

7. What parents should know about you:  Arrowbear helped me grow so much as a musician and person and harbors the most magical and kind energy of any place I have ever been. I'll be sharing my passions of music, nature, yoga, and gratitude with the campers! I hope to create an environment where your kids feel comfortable to be inspired

6. Fun fact about yourself: I marched in the Rose Parade three times. 

7. What parents should know about you: I think as we get old, we grow up in some ways but we forget how to be kids, Arrowbear allowed me to be able to remain a kid at heart throughout high school. Arrowbear is a very special place and I will work hard to show your kid just how special they are.

7. What parents should know about you: Arrowbear has such a special place in my heart—both as a camper and a counselor. I have a love for both music and child care; counseling at Arrowbear has given me the opportunity to combine both these passions in a rewarding and engaging way.
