Arrowbear Music Camp Elementary Sessions

ELEMENTARY

A perfect mix of music and camp fun! The Elementary Session is a 1 week summer experience filled with exceptional music opportunities for young musicians ages 9 through 12. Elementary campers will experience a musical environment that is creative, challenging, supportive, professional, safe and fun! Our inclusive philosophies address not only the enhancement of the camper's musical skills, but also the social/emotional aspect of living and working positively together with other young musicians--creating an environment for the students to succeed while having an experience that they'll remember and cherish for the rest of their lives.

At Arrowbear Music Camp you will:

  • Learn from the best teachers from music programs all over the United States.
  • Grow and gain new skills on your instrument and music in general.
  • Build lifelong friendships with other music students with both musical and traditional camping activities.
  • Experience making music in the natural beauty of an outside mountain setting.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The program of music and fun is carefully balanced to provide an exciting experience. The educators are especially skilled at elementary level teaching. We typically have three string experts and two wind experts conducting the large groups. In addition, specialists work with individual sections. All non-music time is overseen by college age counselors in a ratio of 1 to 8. Counselors watch especially for “lonely” campers and assist in creating friendships.
